1 kg Mrs. Garcia's Pork Adobo Cut

1 pc ​ ​ ​​Onion (thinly sliced)

1 head ​ ​ ​Garlic (minced)

2 pcs ​ ​​Bay Leaves

1 tbsp ​ ​ ​Brown Sugar (optional)

1/2 Black Pepper

1 tbsp​ ​ ​​Oil

1 cup​ ​ ​Vinegar

1/2 cup​ ​​Soy Sauce

1 tbsp ​ ​ ​Salt


1. In a bowl combine pork, soy sauce, onions, garlic, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes inside of refrigerator.

​2. In a large pan or pot, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated pork ​pieces then sear until all sides are browned.

​3. Pour in the vinegar and water. The liquid should almost cover the pork.

​4. Bring mixture to a boil, then lower heat to a gentle simmer.

​5. Cover pan and let pork meat cook for about 40-50 minutes or until meat is tender and ​sauce is reduced.

6. ​Season with salt and pepper to taste. You may also add brown sugar.

7. Serve hot with rice and a side of vegetables or salad.
