
Ingredients
- 1 kg Mrs. Garcia's Pork Adobo Cut1 pc Onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 head Garlic (minced)
- 2 pcs Bay Leaves
- 1 tbsp Brown Sugar (optional)
- 1/2 Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 cup Vinegar
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Salt
Preparation
- In a bowl combine pork, soy sauce, onions, garlic, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 30 minutes inside of refrigerator.
- In a large pan or pot, heat cooking oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated pork pieces then sear until all sides are browned.
- Pour in the vinegar and water. The liquid should almost cover the pork.
- Bring mixture to a boil, then lower heat to a gentle simmer.
- Cover pan and let pork meat cook for about 40-50 minutes or until meat is tender and sauce is reduced.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. You may also add brown sugar.
- Serve hot with rice and a side of vegetables or salad.
